The Rotary Club of New Orleans Riverbend meets Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Sunnies NOLA on Freret Street for our dinner meeting filled with fellowship, interesting and informative programs. Rotary International's 1.3 million members believe that it starts with a commitment to Service Above Self. At our Club, you will find members volunteering here in the New Orleans area and abroad to support education,

job training, providing clean water, combatting hunger, improving health and sanitation, and eradicate polio.

What a Rotary adventure this morning! Members from the Rotary Club of New Orleans, Mid City and Rotary Club of New Orleans Riverbend got a tour of the ARC Gloria, as part of the Sail 250 stop here in town. The ARC Gloria is a 250-foot, three-masted barque that serves as the official sail training ship and flagship of the Colombian Navy. There's a Rotary connection with the Captain and the Rotary Club de cartegena.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

On this Memorial Day, Rotary Club of New Orleans Riverbend joins communities across America in reflecting on the courage, service, and dedication of those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms.

May we never forget their sacrifice.
