Beacon of Hope is mobilizing its resources in response to the recent catastrophic flooding in Louisiana. It is critical to the recovery of neighborhoods and preserving their quality of life to begin remediating homes as quickly as possible, mitigating future blight. Beacon of Hope is currently in the process of mobilizing our resources to aid the residents of Louisiana who fell victim to the catastrophic flooding in Louisiana. We will be concentrating our efforts in the Baton Rouge area. Beacon of Hope is no longer hosting volunteers or providing assistance to homeowners affected by Hurricane Katrina. We are however, continuing to share the lessons we learned on rebuilding communities with any areas that have been devastated by flood waters.
