If your machine is a serger, it must be a 4 thread serger/overlock machine. We do not accept sergers that convert to a coverstitch.

The free mending program continues at Lakeview Library!

We have good news: now you have one more library to bring your fabrics in need of repairs. With help from volunteers of The Sewing Machine Project, you can bring your clothes, coats, or any other fabric items that need minor repairs (no zipper repairs) to the library and keep your favorite pieces wearable a little longer.

The next mending session at Lakeview Library will be on Monday July 20 from 12-2pm. You can also visit Goodman South Madison Library on Mon, July 13 from 4-6pm, Central Library on Thu, July 16 from 10am - 12pm, and Hawthorn Library on Wed, July 22 from 12-2pm.
