Today’s donations were given to 155 ER & ICU Nurses at University Medical Center and 100 Surgical ICU Nurses at Ochsner Medical Center today - this delivery is really special to Caroline because it’s the ICU that she used to work on and it feels so good to give back to the unit that started her career as a Nurse ❤️thank you all so much for your generous donations ❤️ we have 3 weeks and ~ 500 Nurses to go! ❤️ please share these posts with friends and family and help us reach our goal of $10,000 for ~ 750 New Orleans healthcare workers❤️

Olivia and Caroline here! We thought we’d give a quick insta intro and explain this exciting project we have been working on! We have both been working in the Healthcare industry for several years now and have seen first-hand the heroic actions Nurses perform daily. Caroline is a Certified Nurse Practitioner and I am a Nutritionist/ soon to be Registered Dietitian.

We created NOLA Nurse Love, a COVID-19 Relief Fund organized to support both local businesses in the greater New Orleans area and healthcare workers! This relief fund has over $5k from your generous donations within 24hrs of being live! With these funds we are purchasing gift cards from New Orleans restaurants, boutiques, fitness studios etc and hand delivering them to local Hospitals and Emergency Clinics for healthcare workers!

This week we will be turning $5,000 worth of donations into 200 gift cards collected from Commanders, Mr. B's, Ralphs Restaurant Group, Port Orleans and Dickie Brennan’s Restaurant Group to the ER and ICU Nurses at Ochsner Medical Center and University Hospital.

Next week our plan is to donate gift cards from Fat Boy's Pizza and Jean Therapy to local Emergency Clinics. We would love to add Blue Oak BBQ to our list of donors for next week!

We will be updating and our page with pictures of our donors and recipients to show what we’re doing with your generous donations!

Hi everyone!

We have created a COVID-19 Relief Fund organized to support both local businesses in the greater New Orleans area and healthcare workers. We have put together a Go Fund Me to collect donations to purchase gift cards from local businesses and distribute amongst for starters Nurses working in the ICU and ER at Ochsner Hospital and University Hospital.
