Downriver Chess Club of New Orleans

Downriver Chess Club of New Orleans USCF membership required. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We do USCF-rated tournaments twice a week, with occasional larger tournaments on the weekends.

Mondays at Turtle Bay (1119 Decatur), Tuesdays at Morning Call (5101 Canal Blvd) and Thursdays at Cafe Envie (1241 Decatur). 6:45PM registration, 7:00PM first round. Congratulations!

Alex Allison one of the first members of the club just won 1st place (along with his 3 team mates) in the first ever Baton Rouge City Cup!

This was an event put on by Down river chess club and Alton Jamison where 4 people are selected per team to play and everyone's combined scores affects the teams final score.
