📣👯‍♀️✏️STEAM TENT 10A-4P @ ROCK & ROUGE WOMEN’S MUSIC & FOOD FESTIVAL & beyond @ Lafayette Square March 28th & 29th 10A-4P. Meet our science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics S.T.E.A.M. Ambassador, Lorenza Lawless!!! Lorenza is a master in Education and is the Founder of A Different World Academy, a school serving the Westbank Community K-12. With two daughters of her own, Lorenza has taught them well. One daughter is an Engineer and the other a business professional! Lorenza is also a Mardi Gras Indian Queen of the Giimoozaabi Tribe. Welcome to the Rock & Rouge family Lorenza!

Join us folks! There will be Mardi Gras Indian sewing suits at our STEAM Tent for kids. Kids will learn the tricks to sewing beads on to a Mardi Indians suit!! And there will be more activities too for kids 8-14 spotlighting girls 🙌👯‍♀️👯‍♀️🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧒‍🧒👧🥳

Dana Reed director & founder of Upturn Arts host “Special Guest” on Fridays for the kids. School Of Rock were the special guests showcasing their teenage program. It was alotta fun and the children loved it! Great job Dana!!

Rock & Rouge Foundation recently visited UpTurn Arts at their summer camp location (1719 Toledano Street, New Orleans, LA 70115). Dana Reed, the founder, leads the summer camps and oversees the organization.
Dana has been leading wonderful summer camps for 10years and is fully dedicated to supporting her community and the kids. Please donate to her organization. She deserves it and has worked extremely hard to make it through your donations and kind support!
UpTurn Arts is a partner of Rock & Rouge, offering a well-structured program for us at our S.T.E.A.M tent, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

GOTR will be bringing activities to our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics Tent for girls ages 8-12 on October 7th & 8th at Lafayette Square
