♻️ Come out to Swampus Returns by Krewe of Krampus this Saturday and enjoy a Sustainable Halloween Parade!
We have some swampy flowers in the works by our Fleur Members 🪷 and are so excited to see the parade goers on
Accessibility Row, presented by Krewe along St. Philip Street between Bourbon and Royal.
🧩 Accessibility Row provides a dedicated viewing area designed to make the parade more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities.

🌸 Fleur Friday: Caitlin Wallace-Rowland 🌸

Meet Caitlin, an artist whose world is filled with color, creativity, and just the right amount of shimmer. A painter, potter, and textile designer, she spends her days creating beauty - and as a Fleur, she gets to be the art herself.

When asked what makes her feel most like a Fleur, Caitlin didn't hesitate: it's the glitter, the sparkle, and all the magical details that transform her—from the wigs and earrings to the eyelashes that bring her flower to life.

Her favorite Fleur memory? Dancing in Cleo alongside her best friend and fellow Fleur Christina during their very first Mardi Gras parade. Seeing family and friends along the route, celebrating with her Fleur sisters, and soaking in the energy of the crowd made for a day she says she could have danced all over again!

When she's not Fleuring, Caitlin is painting, throwing pottery, designing textiles (and yes, painting flowers). Creativity is simply part of who she is!

Her mantra says it best: "Shimmer."

Or, as Elsie de Wolfe put it: "I'm going to make everything around me beautiful—that will be my life."

We're so glad you're helping make our garden a little more beautiful, Caitlin. 🌸🐝
