A Toast to Tall Ships! What a fun evening celebrating Sail 250 with VCCF members and friends. As New Orleans welcomed one of the largest gatherings of tall ships ever assembled as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, we enjoyed spectacular views, bubbly, small bites, and great conversation while raising a glass to this historic event. Thank you to Shelley Lawrence and Ricci Real Estate for providing an amazing venue. We loved celebrating with you and look forward to seeing you at our next Members Only event!

Join us for a Vieux Carre Commission Foundation (VCCF) members only event to take place on Friday, May 29th from 5pm-7pm at 620 Decatur Penthouse B in celebration of The Sail 250 Event. The Sail 250 Event is a nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, featuring one of the largest flotillas of tall ships ever assembled. View the fleet with some bubbly and small bites.

On Tuesday, May 5th we celebrate GiveNOLA Day. Early giving has started now! GiveNOLA Day, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a one-day online giving event. For 24 hours, everyone who loves our region can support their favorite local causes by donating to one or more participating nonprofit organizations. Since the first event in 2013, GiveNOLA Day has raised over $71.2 million for our region’s nonprofits!

The VCCF is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the historic architecture and cultural character of New Orleans’ French Quarter. Its efforts ensure that the French Quarter’s unique heritage is maintained for future generations while also engaging residents, property owners, and visitors in safeguarding one of America’s most significant and treasured historic districts. Protecting and preserving the Vieux Carre protects and preserves New Orleans’ historic heart, economic engine, and cultural foundation. Protecting the French Quarter benefits all of New Orleans and Louisiana.
