Gratitude and thanks to TFed - Taunton Federal Credit Union and their team for supporting Walt's Mobile Closet from their Dress Down Friday program! We are honored to be included in this list of amazing organizations....together we are making a difference! 🧡
TFed staff and the had a very busy September!
Throughout the month, you could find us out in the community at events across our communities, including the Acushnet Apple Peach Festival, the Taunton Council on Aging’s Senior Resource Fair, the City of Taunton's Grab & Go for Seniors, Cape Cod Canal Day, and the Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours. We also sponsored and took part in several community events, including Touch A Truck and AHA! Downtown New Bedford.
Our staff also spent time volunteering this past month including assisting with Our Daily Bread’s annual Tasting For A Cause fundraiser as well as volunteering at Our Daily Bread each week throughout the month. Team members also assisted the United Way of Greater New Bedford with its Day of Caring at PACE in New Bedford.
In total, TFed & the TFed Street Team contributed 147.5 hours of volunteer time throughout September!
Our Dress Down Program and TFed’s Community Giving Program together contributed a total of $18,400 in donations to local organizations, including:

Every Friday when you visit a TFed branch, you’ll notice our staff dressed down in TFed gear. Through our Dress Down Program, staff members donate each week to dress down, then vote each month on where those funds go.
