✋ A great way to start the school year!

Yesterday, our Director of Communications and Community Engagement, Patti Rego, was thrilled to join more than 285 people representing 65+ community partners for Fall River Public Schools’ annual High Five/Thumbs Up event.

Together, volunteers welcomed elementary school students, staff, and families back for a new school year with plenty of high fives, thumbs up, smiles, and encouragement.

👍Since 2016, this annual tradition has brought the Fall River community together to show students that their community is behind them from day one.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to make the first day of school a little brighter. These moments of connection reflect what we believe at the SouthCoast Community Foundation: strong communities are built when people and organizations come together. 🙌

What an honor! 😍

Last night, we joined friends from across the region at the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 presented by South Coast Almanac at Anchor Rock Vineyards. And for the second year in a row, 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁! 🎉🎉🎉

This recognition means so much because Summer’s Last Blast is a celebration of our SouthCoast communities and the people and organizations working every day to make them stronger.
