Today we honor Juneteenth, a day of reflection, resilience, and remembrance. On this day in 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom. Juneteenth is not just a celebration of freedom, but a call to continue the work of justice, equity, and inclusion for all.

At YMCA Southcoast, we stand in solidarity with Black communities as we reflect on our shared history and reaffirm our commitment to building a future where equity is not just an ideal, but a lived reality.

Camp is all about building confidence, making friends, trying new activities, and making lifelong memories. We believe all children deserve the chance to experience this. 🌞 Spots Are Still Available for Camp Massasoit This Summer! 🌞

Is your child someone who loves being outdoors, making new friends, and trying exciting activities? Looking for a fun and active way to spend the summer? Camp Massasoit is the perfect place!

Our campers enjoy a variety of adventures, including:
🚣 Boating

🧗 Rock Climbing
🏊 Swimming in the Pool, and More!

We offer programs for children ages 5–14, providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment where campers can build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.

We also have an incredible Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program for teens ages 15–16! Our CITs gain valuable responsibility, develop leadership skills, and get hands on experience learning what it's like to be a summer camp counselor.

We are excited to invite families to our Camp Massasoit Open House on Tuesday, June 16th, from 5:00–7:00 PM!

Whether you're new to Camp Massasoit or considering camp for your child this summer, this is the perfect opportunity to explore everything we have to offer. Our amazing staff will be available to guide families on a tour of our beautiful campgrounds, explain parent drop-off and pick-up procedures, and show where campers arrive and depart by bus.

You'll also have the chance to visit the pavilions where campers gather for attendance, lunch, and snack time, giving you a firsthand look at what a typical day at camp is like.

Throughout the evening, our team will be available to answer questions, share information about our programs, and help your family feel prepared and excited for a fun, safe, and memorable summer at Camp Massasoit.
