One More Day. No, it's not Les Miserables. It's auditions for Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and the #1 reason to audition is Fun, FUN, and MORE FUN! This show is not only non-stop enjoyment for the audience, but also for the actors in it. And if you can't have fun doing a play, then why do it, right? If you are serious about "getting your feet wet" by being in a play, then this play is the one for you. Since Peter Pan Goes Wrong is a "play within a play," the actors that are usually behind the scenes in important roles have their moments on stage too. Two days until auditions for Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Reason # 2 to audition: this production is led by two seasoned professionals. Will Cooper who designed the sets for Murder on Orient Express, Clue, and Murder on the Nile will once again be lending his talents to set design and construction for Peter Pan Goes Wrong. This will be Richard Daut's eleventh show to direct for CCPA; past productions include Faith County, Southern Hospitality, Suite Surrender, and Oz. Remember auditions are this Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6 from 5:30-7:00 PM at the fabulous Fox Playhouse theatre. See you then!

Three days until auditions for Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Reason #3 to audition: you will get to perform your role in three different scene locations. A revolve will take you from the Darling nursery to Neverland to the Lagoon and back again. It's going to be be so cool! Reason #4 to audition: you get to perform your role four evenings for live audiences: Wednesday (Sponsor Night), Thursday (Free/Capital Donation Night), Friday and Saturday (Regular Performance Nights). Did I mention two matinees? Matinee performances are on Saturday and Sunday. The female speaking roles are Sandra who plays Wendy Darling; Annie who plays Mrs. Darling/Lisa and Curly; Lucy who plays Tootles. The female non-speaking roles Tinkerbelle and Lil who plays a stagehand, the Octoberfest girl and make-up artist. They are Chris (Director) who plays Mr. Darling and Captain Hook; Robert (Assistant Director) who plays Nana, the dog, Starkey, and Peter’s Shadow; Dennis who plays John Darling and Mr. Smee; Max who plays Michael Darling and the Crocodile; Jonathan who plays Peter Pan. Yes, in this version of Peter Pan, Peter is a male; Cecco, the pirate, who also doubles as Peter’s Shadow. Seven days until auditions for Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Reason #7 to audition: rehearsals are NOT seven days a week. Practices are M-Th until the week of production. Practice is usually no longer than two hours. The cast determines the time: it may be 5-7 or 5:30-7:30 or 6-8 PM. Auditions are Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6 from 5:30-7:00 PM at the fabulous Fox Playhouse theatre in Nevada, MO. Don't be late!
