ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!

Forget ghosts and goblins! This Halloween, the biggest mystery is WHERE IN THE WORLD IS ELVIS?

It's 1970, and Elvis Presley has vanished! His desperate manager, Colonel Tom Parker, dreams up a hilarious scheme involving Elvis impersonators, mistaken identities, and enough confusion to raise the dead!

🕸️ No tricks… just a whole lot of treats and LAUGHS!

Put on your blue suede shoes and get ready for a comedy that's anything but All Shook Up!

Don't come knocking on the theatre door just yet! Elvis won't actually be leaving the building until December 10–13.

Thank you to those who helped us celebrate the Capital Campaign with our Masquerade Gala! We had an evening filled with music, memories, and a celebration of milestones as we revealed our newest brick honorees for the season: Van Ibsen, Ron Seney, Paula Thompson, Betty Lewis, and Chris Kapple Stiles.

Also, thanks to the Nevada Daily Mail who helped to showcase our event! We look forward to celebrating with more of our community in the future. Remember Opening Night tickets are open to the public for a contribution of any financial amount to the Capital Campaign.

ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING Dec 10-13
It's always a thrilling time when a new set goes up for a new show.

As the old flats are pulled out we are reminded of shows past. By now the director has designed their set, the volunteers start with a blank stage and start placing the walls. Then the walls are painted. In this case you see a first coat of an avacado green.

In the midst of the set build the anxious new cast does a first read through. We had that read through last night for ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. We all laughed so hard as we heard the story together for the first time in the actors own voices.

In just 8 short weeks, we transform the stage and the theatre into a new experience for everyone.
Join us on DECEMBER 10-13 for ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING starring Jack Truman, Jane Ann Hancock, Robert Kalthoff, Thurston Bridger and Makenzie Melby. And, of course, Elvis.

Auditions TONIGHT!

At 5:30, auditions for Elvis Has Left the Building will begin at the Fox Playhouse.

All adult parts. 20 something to 60 something. A really great cohesive cast is needed to put this one on the stage. As much as anything, we'll be looking for people with a good sense of humor who get along well with others.

CAST

Colonel Tom Parker leads the cast as a shrewd business man with a slight gambling problem and a talent for hypnotism.

His secretary, Trudy, is an Austrian blonde with a thick accent. Think ZsaZsa.
Roscoe is the Colonel's nerdish office gopher who is easily hypnotized.

Candy is the best friend of the Colonel. He is usually a voice of reason. But maybe not always.

Jill Tanner is an ace reporter with wit and sass. Can she outwit the Colonel?

What about Elvis, you say? Or perhaps Elvis's?

Today and Tomorrow! Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14 ~ Auditions for Elvis Has Left the Building at 5:30-7:00 PM at the Fox Playhouse theatre.

The show will run December 10-13 with matinees on both Saturday and Sunday, in addition to the usual evening performances Thursday-Saturday. Rehearsals will be Monday–Thursday, evenings (not everyone will be called for each rehearsal until we get closer to opening; please come to auditions with all conflicts), approximately 1 1/2 hours in length.

TRUDY – The Colonel’s capable Austrian secretary.
ROSCOE – A nerdish office worker.
CANDY – A friend of the Colonel’s.
JILL TANNER – An ace newspaper reporter.
ALL THE ELVISes – If you fancy yourself an Elvis look alike and/or sound alike, come to auditions and show off your talent!

CHANGE OF AUDITION DATES!

Auditions are now scheduled for TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY next week - October 13 and October 14, 2026, at 5:30-7:00 PM at the Fox Playhouse theatre.

The show will run December 10-13 with matinees on both Saturday and Sunday, in addition to the usual evening performances Thursday-Saturday. Rehearsals will be Monday–Thursday, evenings (not everyone will be called for each rehearsal until we get closer to opening; please come to auditions with all conflicts), approximately 1 1/2 hours in length.
