The relationship between Zeus and his children will soon be on full display. The Community Council on the Performing Arts presents Xanadu in Nevada, Missouri, June 18-21. Xanadu is a hilarious, Tony-nominated, musical comedy based on the 1980 cult classic Olivia Newton-John film. Set in 1980 Venice Beach, California, the story follows a Greek muse named Kira who descends from Mount Olympus to help a struggling artist named Sonny create the world’s first roller disco. A parenting challenge, for sure.
