Take the opportunity to check out the art exhibit of paintings and decoy carvings from the late Vernon County artist John C. Polk at the Bushwhacker Museum on Thursday, October 23rd, 4pm-6pm. Members of the Polk family will be on hand to remember their grandfather's life and legacy. John C. Polk was the long-time caretaker of the Stultz Lake Hunting Club on the Marmaton River. He passed away in 1991. The exhibit will close at the end of October, so don't miss the chance to see it. This event is free and open to the public.

We are so excited to see everyone at the Greenwing event this Saturday from 10 AM - 2 PM!

Just a reminder that every kid MUST have an adult with them at the event at all times.
** DIRECTIONS TO ELKS LAKE FROM NEVADA, MO: **
1. Head North on I-49.
2. Take the Compton Junction Exit (EXIT 107).
3. When you get to the stop sign at the top of exit, go Northeast/East on Highway M
4. Immediately after the railroad tracks, you will head North on 1600 Road. Follow this road for 2 miles, it will eventually turn into a gravel road with a “Dead End” sign.
5. When you get to the end of this road, you will see the “Elks Lake” sign. Follow that road to parking.

1. Head South on I-49.

We filled up the seats yesterday evening! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the DUcks! Huge thank you to our committee, without them the banquet wouldn’t be possible. Shoutout to Seth Barrett for taking over as chairman, I know he will keep the ball rolling!
