💜 HEAD FOR THE CURE 5K | MULLETS FOR MASON 💜

Today was one of those days that truly fills your cup. 💜

The Hunter L Mason Foundation was proud to sponsor our Mullets for Mason team at today’s Head for the Cure 5K in Kansas City—and what an incredible showing!

Our team brought together runners and walkers from across the Heartland and beyond, representing Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and California. We came together to honor Hunter, support those affected by brain cancer, and help fund the fight for a cure.

Together, Mullets for Mason raised more than $3,600 for brain tumor research! Every mile, donation, and person who showed up helped move that mission forward. 🧠💜

We also had some FAST runners in the group! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Several team members placed at the top of their age divisions. A special congratulations to Maddy Thorp for taking first place in her division and Kenny Highley for finishing second in his! 🥇🥈

But today was about so much more than finish times and medals. It was about community, friendship, remembrance, hope, and showing up for something bigger than ourselves.

Seeing people from different states come together, wear the Mullets for Mason name, and carry Hunter’s spirit along the course was incredibly special.

Our hearts—and our cups—are full tonight. 💜

Thank you to every runner, walker, donor, supporter, and friend who helped make today possible. We are grateful beyond words.

Today, on Glioblastoma Awareness Day, we shine a light on one of the most challenging and aggressive forms of cancer. Because treatments remain limited, raising awareness and funding critical research is more urgent than ever.

Today and every day, we honor the fighters, remember the lost, and support the families impacted by GBM. Together, we can be the community that changes the future. 🩶
