Looking for a meaningful way to spend Saturday morning with your family?

Join Hope & Comfort on October 17 for Family Volunteer Day as we kick off Hygiene Insecurity Awareness Week!

Families with children ages 4 through teens are invited to help sort and pack essential hygiene products for children and families across Massachusetts. Along the way, young volunteers will learn why access to basics like soap, toothpaste, and deodorant can make such a difference in someone's life.

It's a fun, hands-on opportunity to make memories while making a difference.

Everyone deserves to start their day with the essentials to feel clean, comfortable, and confident. 💙

But when money is tight, soap, toothpaste, and deodorant can be hard to afford.

We’re so grateful to The Rabbi Abraham Halbfinger and Charlesview Community Fund for a $40,000 grant to Hope & Comfort! This support will help more people access high-quality hygiene products through trusted community partners.

A heartfelt thank you to the Fund, its Board, and Jo-Ann Barbour, Executive Director of Charlesview, Inc., for helping make that possible.

🚨 Calling all Hope & Comfort friends: We need your help!

Due to an unexpected emergency, we are urgently looking for someone who can donate the use of a box truck with a liftgate, large enough to transport six pallets of essential hygiene products, Saturday morning, October 3.

The products need to be transported from Needham to Dorchester for a community event.

Hygiene insecurity affects how people show up at school, work, and in everyday life.

Hope & Comfort is helping address hygiene insecurity across Massachusetts, providing essential products to people who need them. Hundreds of community organizations across Massachusetts are on a waitlist just to get basic hygiene products to the people they serve.

Dedham Savings is helping fix that. Their funding expands our distribution across their service area and moves waitlisted partners, schools, food pantries, shelters, into active service. It'll cover the hygiene needs of 200 people for a full year.

Soap. Toothpaste. Deodorant. Most assistance programs don't cover any of it. But it's the stuff that shapes someone's whole day.
