After graduating college as a registered nurse, Kristy was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 22 in June of 2010.

Despite undergoing many aggressive rounds of radiation, chemotherapy, and surgeries over the next 12 years, Kristy approached each day with unwavering hope and positivity. She was motivated to spread kindness, joy, and comfort to others. No matter how brief the encounter, anyone who was fortunate enough to have met Kristy, will attest that she made them a better person. Kristy used her nursing pro

fession as a platform to inspire patients with similar diagnoses. She showed amazing compassion, while providing emotional support and instilling hope in the patients as they prepared for the trials and tribulations that lie ahead. Kristy passed away on October 31, 2021 after an incredibly courageous 12 year battle with brain cancer. The Kristy Williams Memorial Foundation was established to ensure that Kristy's legacy and loving spirit will continue to live on in others. The foundation will strive to emulate her passion for helping those in need by providing financial assistance to individuals who are living with cancer.
