Melvin Mensch and his spunky daughter Cookie (though I think of her as Kookie) had a fine time at Hebrew Rehab. We started in Memory Care where we sang, danced, and bubbled the lunchroom. It is really gratifying that even with memory issues, some of the residents recognize us! Then we headed to the 2nd floor for the music therapy. The leader was excited to see us because she said the energy in the room was low and it needed a boost. So we boosted! The third floor saw us meeting a lot of old friends that we love: our artist and drummer pal, our former actress, and, of course, our favorite lady who loves to give Mr Mensch the bizness, and then gives him a kiss!
