The article highlights our elder clowning work at Hebrew SeniorLife at NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham, where our clowns bring music, movement, humor, and human connection into memory care and elder communities.

It was a truly special visit, with our own Miss Millie dancing through the halls and Mr. Mensch bringing music and connection to residents along the way.

I just learned that 673 participants from 44 countries and 142 organizations attended the Healthcare International Clown Meeting. That gives you an idea of just how powerful the idea of clowning for kids and elders in hospitals and residential facilities is. When I attended the conference in Vienna in 2019, there were half as many practitioners. This time, you could really feel the difference. This is a movement, and one that is increasingly desired and accepted within the traditional medical establishment. I couldn't be prouder to be a part of this!
