🫶JCM IN REVIEW🫶

Three weeks ago was the international Jewish Community Mifgash and we were so lucky to be able to host .haifa for 10 days. Our beloved Boston fellows helped their new friends explore the city, from Red Sox and Celtics games, to Newbury Street and of course, meeting all our families. Fellows had fun together at Level 99 in Natick and when hosting unique Shabbat experiences. We were even able to all come together to enjoy a meaningful Havdallah experience.

Then, Diller Haifa and Diller Boston took on for the last few days of Diller Haifa’s exploration of America, where we learned from local artists, dove into Diller’s middot (values) and jammed out to karaoke and at our bonfire. It was overall an incredible experience and we are so grateful to our friends in Haifa for laughing with us, learning with us, and most importantly, connecting with us. We are already looking forward to seeing them again this Summer! For Diller Boston, we can’t wait to see each other for our next Mifgash coming up on May 5th!!!

What a weekend! Cohort 14 just wrapped up their phenomenal Leadership Shabbaton. Fellows led leadership, ritual, spirit, Jewish programming, and oversaw the entire schedule. We are so so PROUD of our incredible fellows👏🫶🥳

At our last mifgash we started with a fellow spotlight of our very own Sam Cohen! He taught us the coolest calculator trick, everyone was amazed. Our baller JCs led a program on feedback where they modeled different types of feedback! We also got a chance to record our segment of a very special Diller song! It was a jam packed day and we’re SO excited for this upcoming weekends Shabbaton! 🏕️✨

MIFGASH MOMENTS!! This Sunday Cohort 14 went to .ventures.ma to build desks for tikkun olam day! We enjoyed learning from the crew and we’re lucky to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah all together 🕎 thanks again for welcoming us into your spaces!!🪑✡️

Our last Shabbat in Israel 🇮🇱 It was such a beautiful weekend in the desert even though we had to say our farewells to the ISS experience and our new friends from .Haifa ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Diller Boston and .Haifa could not be more excited for congress today! We’re heading into it refreshed and rejuvenated from an amazing Fellow-led leadership Shabbaton where we bonded over laughs, good conversation and amazing food! 💕☺️

🔙 Sunday Rewind: Day 5 + 6 of community week

On Thursday we began the day by getting our hearts racing at Ninja City. We navigated our way across a frightening ropes course and cheered each other on as we soured down the final zip line.

Afterwards we had a delicious Pizor lunch at the Haifa Mall before we made our way to the science museum of Haifa, Madatech! There we learned about space and flying and felt like we were little again when we made huge bubbles together.

To finish off the day we did a service project picking up trash in Haifa and then had dinner with Diller alumni!

On Friday we woke up bright and early to go on a tour of the mesmerizing Baha’i Gardens. We learned about the Baha’i religion and that over 100 gardens work there year round.

We then put on our cowboy hats and giddied up at the Bet Oren kibbutz where we rode horses and enjoyed one of the most delicious meals we’ve had in Israel yet!

And then from there it was onto our community week Shabbaton!
