Food, grown and shared in community...just as it should be.

World Food Day invites us to give thanks for the nourishment that brings us together. For the nearly 700 residents living at MSC around the world, being home means sharing three nutritious meals each day. Around the table, food nourishes our bodies and helps strengthen our bonds with one another.

We’re committed to ensuring that the individuals in MSC's care have access to the nutritious food they need to thrive. Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible, from those who grow and prepare meals to those who support our mission along the way.

God is always at work in our lives, even when we cannot see the whole picture. He knows what we need, cares for us deeply, and lovingly guides us along the path He has prepared for us. We can find peace in trusting in His divine providence.

Today, let us ask God for the grace to place our trust in Him. May we remain attentive to His presence and open to His guidance, confident that He will give us the wisdom and strength we need for whatever each day brings.

Thank You, Lord, for Your constant care and for guiding us every step of the way.

Wishing a happy 42nd anniversary of priestly ordination to Msgr. Gregory!

Mustard Seed Communities would hardly be the caring organization it is today without Jesus Christ's loving example.

Founder Msgr. Gregory Ramkissoon infuses every dimension of our care with dignity and respect for others, all made beautifully in the image of God.

His dedication to our guiding phrases, "He is Here!" and "Thank You, Lord," keep our mission focused on what really matters: engaging with God's loving presence at all times, as He surrounds us with the graces of life.

Thank you, Msgr. Gregory, for sharing your service as a priest with all of us 🙏 Happy 42 years!

We welcome children from around Bulawayo, Zimbabwe for a hot meal and a story.

More than 1,200 meals are served each day through Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe's nutrition program.

This year, MSC educators and volunteers have added another ingredient to that care: books! Through weekly book swaps at our nutrition program sites, children can discover new stories, explore new worlds, and nurture a love of learning.

Since the book swaps began, school attendance has improved, and several children have stepped into leadership roles at their schools.

Across MSC’s five nutrition program sites in Zimbabwe, nutritious food, opportunities to learn, and strong community connections are helping children grow strong. We are so proud of these growing learners 💛

“When you turn back to him with all your heart, and with all your soul do what is right before him, then he will turn to you, and will hide his face from you no longer.” (Tobit 1:6)

Tobit’s song of praise reminds us that God continually calls us into a deeper relationship with Him. His invitation is always before us, and we are free to respond with open hearts. When we welcome God into our lives, we make room for His love, grace, and guidance to work through us.

Today, let us pray for the grace to “turn back to him with all our hearts” and embrace God’s invitation to walk with Him. May we trust where He leads us and remain open to the beautiful things He can accomplish through our lives.

Lord, help us to say yes to Your invitation each day.

You are never alone, even when it is difficult to believe that the small seed in your hand will one day grow fruit.

Remember, God's love does not disappear when life becomes difficult. He remains with us, offering strength, guidance, and peace.

After Jesus calmed the storm on the sea, He asked His disciples, “Why are you afraid? Have you no faith?” (Mark 4:40)

The storms of life can take many forms, but Jesus reminds us that faith gives us a steady foundation in every season. Just as He calmed the sea, He is present with us through every circumstance, inviting us to trust in His love and place our lives in His hands.

Today, let us give thanks for the gift of faith and ask Jesus to deepen it within us. May our faith bring us peace, strengthen our trust, and help us recognize His presence in every moment.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of faith. Increase our faith and help us trust in You!

This tenderness and love is unlike anything else in the world, and we soak in its presence. We invite everyone to feel that, too 🤍

We thank this special team from Atlanta parishes Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta for showing up to this mission trip in MSC Dominican Republic with hearts open to wonder. Our family wouldn’t be the same without every one of these volunteers.

Our Lord reminds us that we will all encounter challenges in our lives, but we never have to face them alone.

Thank You, Lord, for always being with us, offering Your strength, guidance, and love along the way.

Our lives can take us in many different directions, sometimes bringing unexpected changes or new opportunities. Wherever the journey leads, we can find peace in knowing that Our Lord walks beside us. When we place our trust in Him, we can move forward with confidence, knowing that His presence gives us the grace and strength we need for each day.

Today, let us thank Jesus for the gift of His constant presence, and pray for the grace to recognize His love and guidance in our lives. May we always remember that He is with us, every step of the way.
