82 After-School requests were completed in the 25-26 fiscal year. Most foster families have at least one caregiver working, and the children may be without appropriate supervision if it were not for after-school programs. Quite a few of the programs take place on the school campus, others are at Sports Club, YMCA of Greater Naples, Boys & Girls Club of Collier County, etc. This way they are in a safe nurturing environment. So that there is convenient access to both services, tutoring can be scheduled during after-school!

Happy National Shoe Donation Day! A huge thank you to Laces of Love for your continued support of Fostering Success! The shoes donated this year directly helped local foster children start the school year with confidence.

Needing support doesn't just end when you turn 18 years old. Through our Thriving After Care program, we serve foster youth up to 23 years of age who are entering adulthood to help ease the transitions. The program includes discussion regarding matters such as financial literacy and assistance with housing.

Thanks to the wonderful support from Arthrex, Books for Collier Kids, Laces of Love and the League Club, and help from our volunteers and staff, we were able to serve about 350 kids through our back-to-school program last week!
