This is great news!

Here's some GREAT NEWS for families this school year...ALL students will be able to receive breakfast AND lunch at NO COST to parents and our school district. School districts who qualify are reimbursed through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Services.

These wonderful ladies have volunteered for Collier Harvest for over 24 years, delivering food to the agencies we serve. They were recognized at their group meeting this month for their dedication and given these handmade garden stakes from The CLAY Place.

Surplus Food Pick Up & Delivery - Morning Hours- Volunteers Needed!
Collier Harvest is in need of volunteers who can pick up surplus food from designated retail outlets (EX: Publix, Sams, etc.) and deliver the food to our local agencies. Volunteers must have a current driver's license and their own vehicle. If interested, please email [email protected] Thank you!

Today was one of our favorite days of the year! It was Turkey Day!! Last night our wonderful volunteers created 200 bags of groceries and this morning we picked up 200 turkeys from Publix to go with those bags. East Naples, Golden Gate and Immokalee Middle Schools each received 50 bags of groceries and 50 turkeys. Today for the first time we were able to deliver 50 bags and 50 turkeys to Shadowlawn Elementary !! We are also so thankful for the community that helps us make this happen. To our volunteers, our donors and Publix thank you! We wish you all a Blessed Thanksgiving! We sure do love what we do!!💚❤️

Collier Harvest kicked off another school year delivering bags of groceries to three title 1 middle schools in our community -Golden Gate, East Naples and Immokalee! Throughout the school year at the end of each month we deliver 50 bags of groceries to each school. Every bag contains 7 to 8 meals that will feed a family of 4. We plan each meal to make sure they contain a protein, starch and a fruit or vegetable. We could not do this without our amazing volunteers. They pick up and bag the food and also deliver these much needed groceries to each school!! We are thankful!!!!💚

Yesterday we wrapped up another school year! Ever month from August through May we distribute 50 bags per school to Golden Gate, East Naples and Immokalee Middle Schools. Each bag contains enough food to help feed a family of four for one week. We distribute the food at the end of each month when the families are in the most need. With the help of our wonderful volunteers we created 1,500 bags and 42,000 meals this year!!!!! We wanted to give a special thank you to Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church for all of the support they give us year after year. So proud of what we do and appreciate all the people who are a part of it!!

After a 2 year pause, Collier County will once again participate in the nationwide Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!
This year’s drive will be held on Saturday May 14th. Food donations collected will be organized by Meals of Hope.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Meals of Hope is looking for volunteers to work in 2-3 hour shifts between the hours of 1pm - 7pm. Please email [email protected] to sign up!

More Blessings!! Hams and goodies were delivered to our Schools and Glendale Baptist in Immokalee! This food was then delivered to families in need, to help make their holidays a little brighter. Our hearts are once again full. So very thankful for all the volunteers who work tirelessly to make this happen - THANK YOU!! It is such an amazing feeling to be a part of this dedicated group of people. We wish you all a seaon filled with love. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all. 🥰

Today we were blessed to spend time in Immokalee with Glendale Baptist Church delivering turkeys and bags of groceries. This time of year always reminds us what can happen when people come together and help one another! Collier Harvest and a team of volunteers have delivered turkeys and groceries throughout Collier County offering Thanksgiving to our neighbors in need in the month of November. Love what we do!! Happy Thanksgiving !!!❤️

Getting ready to spread the love for Thanksgiving!! Today we made 50 bags of groceries that will be delivered with turkeys right before Thanksgiving. Elaine and Claudette from Glendale Baptist Church work tirelessly to help their neighbors in need in Immokalee. Thank you very special women!❤️
