At Naples Airport, first flights often spark lifelong dreams. ✈️🌤️

Through the Young Eagles program, local volunteer pilots introduce youth to aviation with free, one-on-one flights designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and future career paths.

These experiences, provided by EAA Chapter 1067 - Naples, FL, help young people see aviation up close and open the door to opportunities that reach far beyond the runway.

Every woman in aviation was once a girl who looked up and wondered, “Could I do that?” ✈️✨

Proud to be part of Girls in Aviation Day and help give the next generation the opportunity to discover the world of flight, dream big, and see what’s possible! 🩷

Thank you to our community partners for including our chapter in such a special day!

Our September Young Eagles workshop allowed students to explore several different areas of aviation and engineering through hands-on activities.

They spent time in flight simulators, built and tested paper-based RC aircraft, and explored the principles of hydraulic systems. We turned STEM concepts into something they could see, build, test, and experience for themselves! 🛠️

A big thank-you to our volunteers who share their time and knowledge to make these experiences possible for the next generation of aviators! ✈️

Our friends at X01 are hosting a pancake fly-in in Everglades City on Saturday October 3rd. 🥞 Be sure to head down and support if you're available! ✈️

Quick reminder of the upcoming Pancake Breakfast of the Friends of Everglades Airpark Corporation. They are a great group but not affiliated with this FB page. However we support everything they are doing to support Everglades City. Fuel is still $6.01 a gallon. Transportation will be provided the short distance to McLeod Park. Great food, good people and lots of displays.

Our September Young Eagles Flight Rally was a success! ☀️We had kids experiencing flights for the first time, familiar faces returning for another flight, and a new Young Eagles pilot! ✈️

There were plenty of special moments throughout the day, including one very meaningful full-circle moment that we’ll be sharing more about soon. 🩷

Thank you to all of our volunteers for giving their time and helping make these experiences possible for the next generation of aviators! ✨
