💙 Sometimes, believing in someone's future is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

Vanessa is a first-generation college student pursuing a finance degree at Florida Gulf Coast University, with dreams of becoming a financial lawyer.

Thanks to scholarship supporters Bill and Susan Brock, she can focus on building that future.

After witnessing the Foundation’s impact firsthand, supporting a scholarship became an easy decision for them.

💙 Behind every college acceptance letter are countless moments most people never see.

The practice tests. The difficult questions. The afternoons spent studying when it would be easier to do something else.

And sometimes, a staff member pulling up a chair to help a student work through one more problem. ✏️

Yesterday, our students were doing exactly that, working together on ACT preparation, encouraging one another, and receiving guidance from our Foundation staff.

It's an important part of preparing for college, but it also represents something bigger.

At The Immokalee Foundation, we don't just help students discover what's possible. We help them prepare for it.

From middle school career exploration and high school academic support to ACT prep, financial aid, scholarships,s and postsecondary planning, our programs provide guidance through each stage of the journey.

We help students stay on track, navigate unfamiliar processes,s and build the skills and confidence they'll need for what's next.

Because when a student dreams of college, they deserve more than encouragement.

Picture the sun setting over the water at the Naples Yacht Club. An intimate dinner. A room filled with music. And some of Nashville's finest songwriters sharing the songs and stories that make their work so special.

🩺✨ EIGHTH GRADE. REAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. BIG POSSIBILITIES.

Imagine being in middle school and exploring the same tools healthcare professionals use to help patients breathe!

That's exactly what our eighth graders experienced when Taylor and Vanessa, two doctoral students studying to be anesthesiologists at Florida Gulf Coast University, who took time to visit and educate our students at Immokalee Middle School, and WHAT A DAY! 💙🧡

Students explored human anatomy, learned how intubation works, and even practiced using medical equipment under expert guidance! 🫁

What began as a health and wellness lesson became something bigger.

A chance to discover a career they may have never imagined for themselves.

Because sometimes the first step toward becoming a healthcare professional starts with someone showing you what's possible. ✨

💙 The graduation photo tells you they made it. It doesn't tell you who helped them get there.

The advocate who noticed something wasn't right. The mentor who picked up the phone. The parent who kept believing, even on the difficult days.

At The Immokalee Foundation, these three relationships form our Triad of Success. A support system built around each student's journey.

Our latest article shares the story of Giselle, a former Foundation student who now serves as an advocate for more than 60 students.

Giselle supports students on their academic journey and worked alongside her mentor and mother to build a plan for their pathway to success. ❤️

That's what happens when people work together and keep showing up.

But we still need more mentors.

You don't have to change a student's whole world in one day. Sometimes, you just have to be there consistently.

🩺✨ SOMEDAY JUST GOT A LITTLE CLOSER.

Eloy and Leeroy have big dreams. And they're doing the work to get there! 🎓

Both are at the top of their class, active in school clubs and pursuing their passion for healthcare through The Immokalee Foundation's Healthcare Pathway.

Their goal? Florida State University. ❤️💛

This summer, they got a glimpse of that future through FSU's SSTRIDE Institute!

👨‍⚕️ Shadowing doctors. 🩺 Learning from medical faculty. 🎓 Connecting with medical students.

For a little while, the future they imagined became something they could actually experience.

And sometimes, that's all it takes to turn "I hope" into "I will." 💙🧡

🎓💙 Getting into college is a milestone. Figuring out how to pay for it and navigate the process? That's a whole different journey.

For many families, these conversations are filled with excitement, questions, and big decisions. And they shouldn't have to navigate them alone. 🧡

At The Immokalee Foundation, our commitment extends far beyond career exploration and hands-on experiences.

Recently, our students and their families participated in FAFSA Night, hosted by Mr. Simmons at the high school.

📚 What is FAFSA? It's the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which helps determine eligibility for federal grants, work-study, and student loans, and may also help students qualify for state and college financial aid.

Because helping a student dream about college is important. Helping them understand how to make it happen can change their future. 🎓✨

A special thank you to Mr. Simmons for hosting this important opportunity for our students and families! 💙🧡
