We're Beverly's Angels, and we've been a non-profit organization in Naples, FL, since 2018. In 2022, nearly 1 in 5 children in our nation will be impoverished. These children are often malnourished and struggling with inadequate healthcare, untreated illnesses, unsafe childcare, and unstable housing. About 2.5 million children are homeless each year in America. At Beverly's Angels, we strive to ma

ke a difference. Whether that be providing basic essentials or hosting our annual Christmas in July event, we are here to help kids and families heal. We're looking forward to partnering with Florida area consumers to continue to provide a better life to our kids in need. Although the concept came in a flash of awareness, the path from emotional trauma toward healing had been thirty-nine years in the making. Following an enlightened conversation with a wise friend, Faith began to understand that although her Mother was difficult, challenging, and almost unbearable, she was also talented, creative. Memories surfaced that Beverly, Faith's Mother loved her with every ounce of her being, despite the illness that ravaged her essence—wanting to embrace her Mother's good and generous side and forgo anger and resentment, which began in her childhood. Faith created Beverly's Angels, a foundation through which she could honor the best aspects Beverly brought to the world. Through random acts of kindness, with no specific cause to champion, Faith created a way to honor her Mother and heal any emotional damage she had been harboring. While harnessing her voice on this beautiful journey, to her surprise, Beverly's Angel's also created a platform for others to heal themselves, all while bountifully serving our community. Christmas Eve, 2019 we received the official document for our 501 (c) 3 foundation. Organically blossoming into the organization it is today, Beverly's Angels are focused on two core principles. First, it provides new, basic essentials to children and their parents in need by creating a program that offers a hand-up approach to persons in need of changing their current situation. Secondly, Beverly's Angels provide a meaningful platform for our Angel volunteers.

Story of Impact
A seventeen year old boy arrived with only the clothes he was wearing, and very little hope. Beverly’s Angels received his request: clothes and shoes that fit, Nike if possible. A few hours later, we delivered a sack overflowing with brand-new Nike clothing, new shoes, and a backpack stuffed with essentials. We were told that after spending most of the day withdrawn and struggling to connect, his eyes lit up as he unpacked every item.

Volunteer Spotlight: Judy Saunders
As the leader of the Sew for Hope group at New Hope Church, Judy Saunders helps create the beautiful essentials bags that bring comfort to children and families throughout our community. Judy’s heart for service is simple: she sees a need and asks, “How can I help?”

Program Milestone: Our Hero Kits Program reaches $100,0000
The Hero Kit Program reached a major milestone this quarter. What began with the City of Naples Police Department and expanded to the Marco Island Police Department, now serves one of the largest sheriff’s offices in Florida: The Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

A Day of Impact: Our Largest Ever Packing Party, Powered by Aha!
Seventy-five team members from Aha! came together for an afternoon of service and hands-on impact.

Corporate Spotlight: Trinity by the Cove
One of our most cherished partners, the Inn on Fifth, continues to show what it means to be part of a true community. From sponsoring our first Where Fashion Hangs With Purpose event to walking alongside us in the Christmas parade, they remain a loyal and dedicated partner.

21 missing children were found because our community came together. Recently, a coordinated Missing Child Rescue Operation led by the National Child Protection Task Force brought together law enforcement, child advocates, nonprofits, healthcare partners, and community organizations across Southwest Florida with one shared mission: helping vulnerable children find safety and support.

Beverly’s Angels provided drawstring toiletry kits for officers to use in the field, giving children immediate access to hygiene essentials during recovery and transport.

When the children arrived at the Collier Hub, Beverly’s Angels supplied two weeks of brand-new clothing tailored to each child’s individual requests and needs. Over the coming months, Beverly’s Angels will continue providing clothing and other critical resources to support these children as they begin their new journey.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Together, we proved what can happen when a community unites to protect its most vulnerable.

The Rec Center will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Why do we give elastic banded shorts you ask?

We give elastic-banded shorts because they provide comfort, flexibility, and practicality for many of the individuals we serve.

For children, they’re easy to wear, comfortable for school or play, and can often fit longer as they grow. For seniors and individuals facing medical challenges, elastic waistbands are easier to manage independently and more comfortable for daily movement. They also work well in moments of crisis or transition, when simple, adaptable clothing can make a meaningful difference.

Most importantly, they allow us to provide essentials that feel thoughtful, wearable, and versatile for real everyday life.

At 79 years old, “JD” should be resting comfortably in a safe home. Instead, he is starting over with almost nothing.

This Air Force Veteran served our country with honor, and now he needs his community to stand beside him. We are working to fully furnish his new home with the basic essentials needed to help him feel safe, supported, and welcomed home with dignity.
