We're Beverly's Angels, and we've been a non-profit organization in Naples, FL, since 2018. In 2022, nearly 1 in 5 children in our nation will be impoverished. These children are often malnourished and struggling with inadequate healthcare, untreated illnesses, unsafe childcare, and unstable housing. ke a difference. Whether that be providing basic essentials or hosting our annual Christmas in July event, we are here to help kids and families heal. Although the concept came in a flash of awareness, the path from emotional trauma toward healing had been thirty-nine years in the making. Following an enlightened conversation with a wise friend, Faith began to understand that although her Mother was difficult, challenging, and almost unbearable, she was also talented, creative. Memories surfaced that Beverly, Faith's Mother loved her with every ounce of her being, despite the illness that ravaged her essence—wanting to embrace her Mother's good and generous side and forgo anger and resentment, which began in her childhood. Faith created Beverly's Angels, a foundation through which she could honor the best aspects Beverly brought to the world. Through random acts of kindness, with no specific cause to champion, Faith created a way to honor her Mother and heal any emotional damage she had been harboring. While harnessing her voice on this beautiful journey, to her surprise, Beverly's Angel's also created a platform for others to heal themselves, all while bountifully serving our community. Christmas Eve, 2019 we received the official document for our 501 (c) 3 foundation. Organically blossoming into the organization it is today, Beverly's Angels are focused on two core principles. First, it provides new, basic essentials to children and their parents in need by creating a program that offers a hand-up approach to persons in need of changing their current situation. Secondly, Beverly's Angels provide a meaningful platform for our Angel volunteers.
