🐱🐾 **HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY!** 🐾🐱

Today, October 29, we're celebrating our furry, four-legged friends who somehow manage to rule the household without paying a single bill! 😂🐈

Whether they're curled up in your favorite chair, knocking things off the counter, demanding dinner an hour early, or pretending they can't hear you, cats certainly know how to keep life interesting! 😹❤️

Cats also provide companionship, comfort, and plenty of entertainment. For many veterans and military families, a beloved pet can be a wonderful source of friendship and emotional support. 🇺🇸🐾

🐈 **NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!** 🐈

We want to meet the cats of our VFW family!

📸 **Share a picture of your cat in the comments!**

And tell us:

🐾 What's your cat's name?
😹 What's the funniest or strangest thing your cat does?
👑 Who really runs your household, you or the cat?

Don't have a cat? No problem! Tell us about a favorite feline you've known, or share a little love for our shelter cats waiting for their forever homes. 🏡❤️

From **Mt. Pleasant VFW Post & Auxiliary 10624**, we wish all our feline friends and their humans a very **Happy National Cat Day!** 🐱🇺🇸💙

🇺🇸🎖️ **NATIONAL DAY OF THE DEPLOYED — OCTOBER 26** 🎖️🇺🇸

Today, on **National Day of the Deployed**, we honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who are serving far from home, answering the call of duty, and making sacrifices in service to our nation. 🫡❤️🤍💙

Deployment means more than time away from home. It means **missed birthdays, holidays, family milestones, and everyday moments** that so many of us take for granted.

We also recognize the **military spouses, children, parents, and loved ones** who carry on at home, offering strength, encouragement, and unwavering support while awaiting their service member's safe return. 💙🏡

🇺🇸 **To those currently deployed:** Thank you for your courage, dedication, and service.

🎖️ **To our veterans:** We recognize the sacrifices you made during your own deployments.

❤️ **To military families:** Thank you for the sacrifices you make alongside those who serve.

From **Mt. Pleasant VFW Post & Auxiliary 10624**, we stand in gratitude and support of all who have deployed, those currently serving overseas, and the families who stand behind them.

🙏🇺🇸 **May every deployed service member return home safely. Until they all come home, we remember, we honor, and we support.** 🇺🇸🙏

🔵 WEAR BLUE ON THE 22ND 🔵

On the 22nd of each month, we wear blue to raise awareness for veteran su***de prevention and to remind our veterans that they are never alone.

Check on a friend.
Give them a call. Send a message. Stop by for a visit. Ask how they're really doing.

Sometimes, a simple conversation can make a world of difference in someone's life.

🔵 Wear Blue. Check In. Be There. 🇺🇸
