🚒❤️ What a night, Isle of Palms!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Islander 71 for LENS IOP’s Firefighter Appreciation Night! It was an incredible evening filled with music, family fun, generous donations, and—most importantly—an outpouring of appreciation for the men and women who protect our island every day.

A heartfelt thank-you to Islander 71 for hosting us, Mayor Phillip Pounds for joining us as our guest bartender, Coty Lynn for the live music, Dan Battista of Explore Charleston, Terri A. Haack of Wild Dunes Resort, and Kate Polcha from Huntington Bank, and our many volunteers for their support!

To our incredible sponsors, local businesses, and community members who donated door prizes, experiences, and gifts—including golf, dining, eco-tours, w**e packages, and more—thank you for your generosity! Your support helped make this night extra special and allows LENS to continue supporting our first responders and their families.

Most of all, thank you to the Isle of Palms Fire & Rescue team and all our first responders for showing up for our community, day in and day out. This night was for YOU! ❤️

Housing is an important part of supporting those who serve our community.

LENS IOP is proud to launch a three-part Affordable Housing Initiative designed to support Isle of Palms first responders through stop-gap housing, flexible rent support, and a pathway to homeownership.

This initiative is made possible through partnerships with South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers, Flex, and Huntington Bank.

Because supporting those who serve our community means helping them live, work, and build a future here.
