PBA Local 298 stands in support of Detective Murarik of the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Law Enforcement, PBA Local 151.

Detective Murarik began his service with the Morris County Sheriff’s Office in 2017 and quickly became a K9 Handler. He has recently shared his battle with ALS, and we are asking our members, friends, and community to stand with one of our own.

Please consider sharing his story or making a donation to support the fight for a cure. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps show Detective Murarik and his family that they are not facing this alone.

Patch to patch. Brother to brother. We stand with you.

PBA Local #298 would like to proudly congratulate Officer Mario Maddaloni on his graduation from the Bergen County Police Academy’s BCCPO Class 35.

Completing the police academy is a major accomplishment. It takes discipline, commitment, physical and mental toughness, and the determination to push through 19 weeks of demanding training. Officer Maddaloni met that challenge and earned his place among the newest Correctional Police Officers serving Morris County.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is that Officer Maddaloni represented the Morris County Sheriff’s Office as the only Morris County recruit in his academy class. He stepped into that challenge on his own, carried himself with professionalism, and successfully completed the program.

PBA Local #298 is proud to welcome Officer Maddaloni as one of our newest members. We wish him a long, safe, and successful career with the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Corrections.

Congratulations, Officer Maddaloni. Welcome to the job, and welcome to PBA Local #298.
