The Township’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is aware that areas of the township remain without power. We are in continual coordination with PSE&G regarding these outages.

At this time, PSE&G is aware of all reported outages and continues to prioritize restoration efforts. In some locations, crews are dealing with multiple broken utility poles and significant tree damage. Those areas require infrastructure reconstruction before power can be safely restored, which unfortunately takes additional time.

At this point, we have not been provided with a formal restoration timeline.

If your home is still without power, I strongly encourage you to contact PSE&G directly to confirm that your outage has been reported and to obtain an outage confirmation number.

I know this is frustrating for everyone affected, and I sincerely appreciate your patience as crews continue working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible.

And yes, I’m still one of the Township’s two Deputy OEM Coordinators, and as always, I’ll continue doing the work to keep our residents informed and assist however I can.

🎀 Ribbon Cutting: New Disabled Veterans Housing in Montvale 🎀

Join us as we celebrate a major milestone in supporting veterans and strengthening our community—the opening of new housing for disabled veterans in Montvale, NJ (Bergen County). This project is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when mission-driven partners come together to serve those who’ve served us.

This initiative was coordinated by NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders and made possible through true collaboration with community and public-sector partners, including Nouvelle, LLC, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Paterson (SSVF), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (including support through an awarded grant), Senator Cory Booker’s office, Ashley Furniture HomeStore CR (furnishings), the NJ Department of Community Affairs, the New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs, NJ Elks Veterans Committee, Homes For Veterans, and Welcome Home Vets of NJ —all stepping up in different ways to help veteran households feel at home from day one.
