🎀 Ribbon Cutting: New Disabled Veterans Housing in Montvale 🎀

Join us as we celebrate a major milestone in supporting veterans and strengthening our community—the opening of new housing for disabled veterans in Montvale, NJ (Bergen County). This project is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when mission-driven partners come together to serve those who’ve served us.

This initiative was coordinated by NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders and made possible through true collaboration with community and public-sector partners, including Nouvelle, LLC, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Paterson (SSVF), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (including support through an awarded grant), Senator Cory Booker’s office, Ashley Furniture HomeStore CR (furnishings), the NJ Department of Community Affairs, the New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs, NJ Elks Veterans Committee, Homes For Veterans, and Welcome Home Vets of NJ —all stepping up in different ways to help veteran households feel at home from day one.

Today is Day. Tonight, we will be bathing The Wall in orange candlelight at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial site to 'Bring Light' to the ongoing effects and loss due to this horrible chemical.
