On May 16th, 2026 the Morris and Sussex Counties SONJ community came together to Walk SONJ. This is a yearly event held in every NJ county to support local Special Olympics NJ programs and athletes.

Special Olympics, New Jersey does not charge athletes to participate in our programs. Fundraising is vital for the survival of SONJ.

If you participated in our walk this May or in a previous years, thank you so much for your support. If anybody ever tells you, it's too late to donate that could not be further from the truth. Every amount helps. It's never too late to make a charitable donation to SONJ or to volunteer with our athletes. If you click on the link below and donate, your generosity goes to help support Morris & Sussex County athletes.

We are so proud of the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families who represented our communities with determination, sportsmanship, and heart.
