Preschool Advantage funds quality preschool education in Morris and northern Somerset counties for children of working families in need. Since 1995, Preschool Advantage recognized the long-term impact that quality early childhood education has on the character of our community. Studies have demonstrated that early childhood education profoundly affects a child’s life: intellectual development, se

lf-confidence, even future earning potential. It helps our children grow up to be responsible and fulfilled adults. The concept of Preschool Advantage is to seed the educational foundations for children in our communities whose families are devoted to their education and who want their children to have the best possible start, but who cannot afford the cost of a quality preschool. We fund a school year (September – June) program for 3 and 4 year olds at one of our partner preschools. We provide tuition for half day programs; however families should be aware that some of the schools have other assistance available to cover a full day. CONTACT US:

Because of the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers, the support of our community partners, and the commitment of our partner preschools, 125 children will attend high-quality preschool programs during the 2026–2027 school year. This is the largest class in Preschool Advantage's history, and every child represents a family that now has access to the strong start every child deserves.

To everyone who gives, volunteers, advocates, and partners with us: thank you. Your investment in early childhood education is creating opportunities for children and families across Morris and Somerset Counties while strengthening our communities for generations to come.
