🌅 Join Us for a Special Community Run Supporting Make-A-Wish! 💙💫

Girls on the Run is excited to support an incredible mission coming to Morgantown!

On Saturday, August 1, Brady McDonald will be making his West Virginia stop on an amazing journey to run a 50K in all 50 states in 50 consecutive days to raise $1 million for Make-A-Wish and help grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

Last week, severe weather in Weston, WV left Hannah Dodson, our GOTR Program Manager, without her truck and with significant damage to her home. As she works to recover and rebuild, we want to wrap our GOTR community around her the way she has always wrapped it around our girls, coaches, and families.

To help ease the financial burden of this unexpected disaster, we've set up a fundraiser. Every dollar raised will go directly to support Hannah as she gets back on her feet.

Today we're saying a bittersweet goodbye to Leila Caputo, our Program Director here at Girls on the Run North Central West Virginia for the past year!

Leila has been an incredible force behind our growth this past season, bringing organization, heart, and dedication to running our program behind the scenes and helping make our 5K a success. Her passion for empowering young girls to be confident, healthy, and joyful has left a lasting mark on our community.

While we're sad to see her go, we're so grateful for everything she poured into GOTR NCWV this year. Thank you, Leila, for everything you've done, you'll be missed!

At Girls on the Run, we believe in lighting other people’s torches.
