Tails on Trails - hike this Sunday in partnership with the Humane Society of Raleigh County at Piney Creek Preserve! Not sure about adoption? That's ok! This event is open to all pet lovers looking to make a dog’s day special. These walks will help to improve their physical health, reduce stress and anxiety, provide mental enrichment, and build confidence.

Event timeline:
1:00 PM: Meet at the Humane Society of Raleigh County to meet your furry friend for the day
1:30 PM: Head to Piney Creek Preserve to take a walk

4:00 PM: Take your furry friend back to the Humane Society of Raleigh County

Where are our Fayetteville friends at?! Thursday, May 21 join the West Virginia Land Trust at Secret Sandwich Society for a relaxed and fun-filled gathering celebrating the landscapes and communities that make West Virginia wild and wonderful.

Reconnect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and friends of the Mountain State while learning how, together, we are protecting the lands and waters that make hiking, climbing, paddling, and exploring this region possible. We’ll also highlight nearby conserved properties and public places you can visit and experience firsthand.
