Update: Roadway is currently reopened. Single lane or whole road closure may occur over the next few days to finish fluid cleanup. We will update the public as we receive information.

UPDATE 2220: Crews from Central Supply are still in the area working on containing a spill from the wreck. The roadway is open to ONE LANE. Please use caution for workers in the area at this time

Traffic Advisory: Scott’s Run Road to Rt. 100 is currently closed due to a flipped concrete truck. Estimated time of opening is approximately 2-3 hours. Thank you.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything in defense of our nation.

From all of us at Granville Fire Department, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen heroes and their families.

May we never forget their sacrifice. 🇺🇸🚒

🚨 Water Main Break Response 🚨

Early this morning, the Granville Fire Department was alerted alongside the Granville Police Department and the Town Street Department for a significant water main break within town limits.

Through quick response and teamwork, crews were able to help keep the water situation under control until MUB arrived on scene and assumed operations. MUB crews are currently on site actively working to repair the affected area and restore normal service as quickly and safely as possible.

We would like to thank the residents of Granville for their patience and understanding during this incident. We also want to recognize the outstanding teamwork displayed by all of the departments and staff here at the Town of Granville. Situations like this highlight the importance of working together to serve our community.

We would like to congratulate Jr. Firefighter Kayden Coles on his graduation from UHS yesterday!
