Last term as Master Councilor of Mobile Chapter Order of DeMolay, I wanted to lead a project that truly meant something to me. My sister Grace is a Shrine child, so giving back to Shriners Children’s was personal. And anyone who knows me knows I love silly socks, so it felt like the perfect project. One of my favorite things about DeMolay is the opportunity it gives us to serve others and give back to our communities.

I’m proud to say our chapter donated 461 pairs of silly socks for the teens at Shriners Shreveport. A small act can still make a big difference.

After having a hard time connecting, I was so happy to finally see Ms. Jennifer in Biloxi and get the socks delivered.

Thank you to EVERYONE who donated and helped make this happen. Your support means more than you know!

Today we are cheering Jackson on as he officially graduated high school! We are so proud of all of his hard work, dedication, and the person he has become. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we cannot wait to see all that is in store for him in the future. Congratulations, Jackson! Your future is bright. 🎓

Happy Birthday to our newest DeMolay brother, Liam! 🎉

Today the boys celebrated Parents Day by learning how to make peach cobbler, one of Mark’s favorites, and then shared it with their parents. It was a fun way to spend time together while also doing something meaningful for the people who support them every day.

Mark was also presented with a Mobile DeMolay hat. These hats aren’t just handed out, they’re earned. They recognize the boys who consistently show up, put in the work, and help make our chapter stronger. Well deserved!

We’re proud of all the young men in our chapter and the effort they continue to give. Moments like this remind us what DeMolay is all about, brotherhood, service, and appreciation for family.

We’ve also included the peach cobbler recipe so you can try it at home and enjoy a little piece of today with your own family!

For 107 years, Order of DeMolay has been giving young men a place to grow, lead, and be part of something bigger than themselves. Not many organizations can say they have impacted lives for over a century, but DeMolay continues to do it by building brotherhood, confidence, and character that lasts long after meetings are over. That kind of legacy is powerful, and being part of it means carrying on something that has mattered to generations of young men. Here’s to 107 years of brotherhood and everything still ahead.

Today Mobile DeMolay observed Devotional Day. This year we wanted to do something a little different, so Dad Aaron invited his friend, Joseph to come speak to the Chapter. Joseph is the President of the Mobile Jewish Federation and was happy to speak to us. His presentation was great. He gave a history of Judaism and how Judaism and Christianity are interconnected. We had visitors join the Chapter from Mobile Assembly, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, the Shrine, and Amaranth. We also shared a great meal together. We didn't just observe the obligatory day, we learned more about our friends, our world, and ourselves. Thank you for speaking to us today, Joseph!
