Ok guys- here’s what we have.. 45 cats and kittens at one home that need to be moved by the end of the week.

Here’s what we desperately need.. we need FUNDS & SUPPLIES. Everyone will need vaccines, a tray of vaccines costs $161 for 25, we will need TWO trays just to get started. 10 adults/moms will need combo tests to check them for FIV/FeLV and these are $37 each. Flea prevention and deworming for each cat- another $7 each.

This is just the basics to get started and it’s looking like $1,007 just to get initial intake vetting for these 45 cats and kittens.

These guys will also need food and litter to go into foster so they are covered for their stay. 🥲

We have started pulling the first of the moms with the youngest babies (thank you for enduring the mosquitos to grab them while I was out of town 🫶) so we need funds ASAP to make sure we don’t start drowning. These 45 are coming in ON TOP of our already full foster homes who are holding 30+ including MANY medical cases.

We are doing our very best out here, but we can’t do it alone! If you have anything to spare, no matter how big or small, you can send it via: PayPal/venmo/cashapp to @ mobilecatsociety

Or our amazon wishlist for supplies! Link in Bio on IG or in the comments on FB. ❤️ THANK YOU for your support this kitten season!

HOLY GAS PRICES, BATMAN!

Over the weekend we had the opportunity to deliver 18 feral cats to a long-time partner of ours in Illinois. These ferals will be adopted out as working cats who will live their BEST lives in horse barns after proper acclimation.

In addition to these guys, we were able to deliver our 2 special needs kitties, Gus & Lil Sister, who have EDS that we pulled from the County Shelter. They were adopted in Iowa where they will have the best life with their new family.

This was an incredible life saving trip to provide a better future to 20 Alabama cats. But goodness gracious, the fuel prices got us! If you would like to help us recoup some of these funds (which we desperately need to go towards a group of 45 cats and kittens we took in 🤦🏻‍♀️) we would be forever grateful for every dollar!

This funny looking cat, Figgy girl, is looking for her very own family! 💕

A few weeks ago I pulled Fig (along with a few kitties) from a shelter in Louisiana. I got her spayed and updated on her vaccines, but it turns out this sweet young girl is heartworm positive. 😢

Fig has started the process of her treatment, and we are committed to continuing her treatment until she is negative. In the meantime, she is looking for a foster or permanent family! She gets along great with dogs and kittens.

Fig is a 37 pound terrier mix, estimated to be about 2 years old, and is SUCH a sweetheart. She loves to go on walks, car rides, and snuggle. (She literally doesn’t know what personal space is)

If you are interested in adopting OR fostering Fig, shoot us a message and let’s see if you’re a good fit!

If you can’t foster or adopt, but would like to contribute financially to her heartworm treatment, every dollar counts!

Who remembers Auge, the sweet sick baby who had the ruptured eyeball that was left outside of a grooming facility with her brother who sadly passed away?

LOOK AT HER NOW!

If you don’t remember her, swipe and take a look at how much she has grown into an incredibly beautiful seal point with only one eye 🥹

Once she became medically stable, she went to spend some time in foster care with my amazing friend, Auburn. She has SPROUTED and grown into such a beautiful girl.

This past Thursday she was spayed and her vetting was finalized, so you know what that means.. she’s ready for ADOPTION!

Applications can be submitted via our website- www.mobilecatsociety.com

Auge is located in Mobile, AL but can be transported to an approved adopter out of state. Applications do not guarantee adoption, all apps will be processed and we will proceed with the adopter that is the best fit for Auge and her needs. ❤️

I’d like to take a moment to put the spotlight on one of our Mobile Cat Society fosters 💕

started fostering:
-My former bottle baby, Bagheera
-Maggot B***y
-AND my current bottle baby, Alien Head
right before I had to go out of state for work. Which was a huge lifesaver!

While I was away my sister took in 4 babies who were in rough shape and needed a little more care than she could provide. They were BAD. Malnourished, cold, lethargic, without a mom, and covered in nastiness with pale gums.

Megan texted me and said that she felt like she may lose the weakest two, but she was doing all she could to help them pull through.

And you know what? She absolutely did. The next morning update she told me that they had all pulled through. Every update after they have gotten stronger, perkier, and eating like little champs!

She is tackling 7 fosters (5 of those being bottle babies) while also being an amazing mom to two human children, juggling her own life, and working.

I am so incredibly grateful for our fosters, like Megan, who give so much of themselves, their homes, and their lives to help MCS do this work. We wouldn’t be able to do it without them. These little babies wouldn’t have a fighting chance without our fosters who are fighting for them, with us. ❤️

Swipe to see these little floofs plump up and look better ➡️

We are absolutely inundated with animals right now. Our fosters are full, our vet bills are climbing back up, supplies are running low, and the requests for help just aren’t slowing down.

We are so maxxed on resources we are squeezing animals into every nook and cranny of our lives to try to help the most severe cases who wouldn’t have a chance without us. Like this Itsy Bitsy broken baby 🥺

A couple of weeks ago we got this precious girl from the County Shelter with two broken back legs. We have no clue what put her in this condition- but you would NEVER know it just by looking at her.

Within just a few days of being in foster with her personality started to SHINE. She loves being held, can’t be slowed down, and has so much s***k behind those tall ears and sweet eyes.

But unfortunately. She will still need to have surgery to prevent her from having a future of pain and discomfort. Because those legs just aren’t going to heal in a way that provides that for her.

Itsy is not quite big enough to undergo a major surgery like that just yet, so she will continue to grow in foster with her pain managed as needed until she is!

If you would like to help us out ahead of this journey for her, please share some love our way via Venmo/PayPal/Cashapp ❤️ @ mobilecatsociety

It will be a while before she is ready to be adopted, but if she is tugging on your heartstrings please send over an adoption application and we can discuss what that process and next steps look like for her!

How it started ➡️ How it’s healing

Checking in with a little update on Mississippi Earl! We pulled this cutie from the County Shelter a couple of weeks ago with some pretty gnarly self inflicted wounds. This precious guy is healing INCREDIBLY and so quickly. With him being FIV+, I expected him to be a little slower with his recovery. But this sweet precious boy is doing amazing. 😻

Interested in fostering or adopting Earl? Apply on our website at www.mobilecatsociety.com ❤️
