What an incredible and emotional weekend for our BATC family 💗

On Saturday, our “Ballin’ for Bras Across the CAUSEway” team took on the hill at Ballin' on Belrose in support of the incredible BALLERS and families impacted by pediatric and young adult cancer through Baller Dream Foundation!

We are beyond honored and grateful to share that Bras Across the CAUSEway placed 3rd in the nonprofit challenge and received a $10,000 donation that will directly support LOCAL breast cancer patients and families in our community.

Right now, we are actively working several patient assistance requests, and this donation alone could help cover support for up to FIVE local patients through assistance with housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, medical bills, insurance premiums and other essential expenses during their battle with breast cancer.

To every person who joined our team, donated, volunteered, cheered us on, or conquered that hill beside us… thank you. Your support is truly making a direct impact in the lives of local families who need it most.

A HUGE shoutout to one of our incredible BRALLERS, Bubba Montgomery, who was the FIRST person to complete all 11 treks up the hill 💪 What an amazing accomplishment and representation of determination, heart, and community spirit!

We also want to give a special thank you to Tubby's Tees for always helping bring our vision to life and coming through with our incredible BRALLER shirts and support for our team and organization.

Events like Ballin’ on Belrose are such a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support families facing cancer. We are incredibly grateful to 68 Ventures, the community partners, volunteers, sponsors, and every single person who played a part in making this event possible in support of the incredible BALLERS! 💕

We are SO excited to see everyone tomorrow at Ballin' on Belrose! 💗🏀

If you signed up for our team under Ballin’ for Bras Across the CAUSEway, please check out the below information!

📍 Team Meeting Spot:
Jodi, our incredible Patient Support Director, will be parked in her green jeep near Daphne City Hall beginning around 7:00 AM with team shirts. Please grab your shirt before heading down toward the bay together as a team! If you have not received your packet/bib from registration yet, please be sure to check in first.

⚠️ Parking Notes:
Please do NOT park in the Press & Co parking lot, as it is reserved for customers only.

Suggested parking:
- Daphne City Hall
- Christ the King Church
- Post Office
- Nearby public parking

🏃‍♀️ Event Notes:
- Lap tracking will use tear-off tabs placed into your team bucket at the top of the hill.

We will see you all bright and early as we come together to support our local breast cancer patients and the incredible BALLERS that benefit from the Baller Dream Foundation🩷💪

Memaw knows...

Ladies, go get your mammogram. Yes, it’s awkward. Yes, they put you in that little robe where you feel like you’re about to either perform karate or get interrogated in a low budget hospital drama. I walked in there looking like I was fixing to yell “EVERYBODY WAS KUNG FU FIGHTING”😂

But jokes aside… it matters.

A few minutes of discomfort can bring a whole lot of peace of mind. Early detection saves lives, and we spend so much time taking care of everybody else that sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves too.

So consider this your loving Memaw reminder:
Schedule the mammogram.
Wear the funny robe.
Do the squish.
Then reward yourself with a little treat afterward because you earned it. ♥️

Today, we celebrate the incredible mothers and women in our community whose strength, love, compassion, and resilience inspire us every day.

At Bras Across the CAUSEway, we are especially mindful of the women facing breast cancer this Mother’s Day. The moms, daughters, grandmothers, caregivers, and survivors navigating seasons that require extraordinary courage and grace.

Whether you have personally faced this journey, supported someone who has, or simply want to help uplift the women around you, today is a reminder of the power of community, hope, and love.
