We are excited to announce that registration is open for Let's Learn Together Outside, a FREE summer nature play program made possible by a grant from PNC Grow Up Great and the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL).

Let’s Learn Together Outside is a 4-session program for families with children ages birth-5 all about outdoor play and learning. In this program, families can expect to learn—and play—outdoors together! Each session, families will try fun new activities and receive a book and play item based on that session’s learning goal. Each session is about an hour and a half. We ask that you commit to participating in all four sessions in the group you choose - either Thursday or Saturday.

We are offering the program on both Thursday or Saturday mornings. You may choose the day that best fits your schedule.

The Grow More, Give More 250 Pound Challenge is heating up!
Marshall County is currently in the lead with 1,245 pounds of fresh produce donated, but the challenge is far from over. Through Labor Day, gardeners across Alabama are encouraged to grow a little extra and give a little extra to help people in need.

This statewide challenge celebrates America’s 250th anniversary by encouraging every Alabama county to donate at least 250 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables to local food pantries, neighbors, community kitchens, and organizations serving others.
Find out where your county currently ranks, learn more, and track your donations at aces.edu/go/250Challenge.
