Mission of Hope FREE, residential, faith-based, drug & alcohol addiction recovery program for men & women. Our program is 100% Free because we are 100% community-funded.

The Mission of Hope is a residential, faith-based, drug and alcohol recovery program. The ministry was founded in 1971 by Lonnie & Carol Miller, who brought their family of five from Houston, TX, to Mobile, AL, to begin Mission of Hope. Individuals, churches, and businesses donate to remove the financial barrier so every man and woman who wants help can get the care he or she needs. The Men's Camp

us is located in West Mobile, Alabama, and can house 92 men and staff. The Women's Campus is located in Mount Vernon and can house 34 women and staff. Our Halfway House in Semmes can provide ongoing care for as many as 20 men as they transition from our program back into the community. Last year, 488 men and women turned to the Mission of Hope for help overcoming addiction. With community support, we've been breaking chains of addiction through our Lord, Jesus Christ for 53 years.

All proceeds this year will go to funding the construction of our new furniture store. The furniture store is a big part of funding the Mission and has also served the community for many years.
Please consider being apart of this year's banquet fundraiser. God has used Mission of Hope to help men and women in addiction for 55 years at no cost to the client. God Bless!

We had an incredible time this year at our Swing for Hope. We had 88 golfers participate and 22 different sponsors support the ministry. Praise God!! A special thank you to Benton Auto Sales for being our Title Sponsor. They not only gave abundantly, they did a raffle to support the ministry and put a Jeep up for grabs in our Hole in One Challenge. We are so grateful for your hearts toward Mission of Hope. Thank you Redemption Church, Byrd Custom Homes, Tensaw Mulch, and First Baptist Tillman's Corner for being major sponsors this year. Thank you to the volunteers that help make this happen and handle all of the busyness. And thank RTJ Magnolia Grove for hosting us again this year.
