As funding continues to decline for students who have proven themselves in any field of the arts, be it music, art, journalism, writers, painters, sculptors, culinary, videography, graphic design or acting. Kalypso has made it our mission and our passion to provide scholarships to deserving students in any of these fields.

Kalypso Arts Scholarship
The Krewe of Kalypso, a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization, located in Jackson County, MS offers the Kalypso Scholarship Program to George County, Greene County, Harrison County and Jackson County Schools to high school seniors who have chosen to study any field of the arts, be it theater, music, culinary, art, journalism, photography/media, etc.

As funding for the arts is declining, we are here to fill a need.

Our little band of pirates consists of members who have dedicated their lives to music, painting, writing, cooking, acting, and many others who understand the hardship of getting scholarships for these fields.

We offered our first scholarship in 2018 and hope for it to grow with every passing year!
