Sometimes faith doesn’t change the situation right away. I’m learning this the hard way ~

Sometimes faith is what gets you THROUGH it. 🤍

It’s praying when you’re tired of praying. < amen
Trusting when you still don’t understand. < amen
Showing up when you’d rather give up. < yes Lord
And believing that God is still working—even when you can’t see a single thing changing. < THIS!!

Faith doesn’t always mean the storm stops.

Find people who will pray with you, encourage you, hold you accountable, and lovingly point you back to Jesus when you need it most.

We all have a mess—but we also have a God whose mercy and love are greater. ❤️

WHERE DOES YOUR HELP COME FROM?

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
— Psalm 121:1–2 KJV

Sometimes the mess gets so big that it becomes all we can see.

The addiction.
The grief.
The mistakes.
The anxiety.
The thing you thought you had overcome.
The pieces you still don’t know how to put back together.

But Scripture reminds us to lift our eyes.

Your help isn’t found in pretending you’re okay.
It isn’t found in having all the answers.
And it isn’t found in trying harder to carry everything by yourself.

Your help comes from the Lord.

The same God who made heaven and earth is not intimidated by the mess in front of you.

So when you don’t know what to do next, look up.

There is still help.
There is still hope.
And there is still mercy in the mess. 🤍

Sometimes we pray for God to change the situation, remove the struggle, open the door, or make the hard thing easier.

But Romans 5:3–4 reminds us that God can produce something in us through the very things we wish He would take away.
Maybe the prayer isn’t only, “God, change this.”
Maybe it’s also, “God, don’t let me walk through this and come out the same.”

There can be purpose even here. 🤍

Hey Life Recovery family! 🤍 Just wanted to let everyone know that we will not be having Life Recovery this week. I have somewhere I need to be that is very important to me, and unfortunately, there isn’t anyone else available to lead class in my absence.

We hate to miss a week, but we’ll be back together the first week of September and ready to pick right back up! Thank you all for understanding. We love and appreciate each of you and can’t wait to see everyone next week! 🤍
