Hello friend as you seen I'm not as active as I use too. My rescue is not shut down but I have not taken in rescues in some time now. I been solo in running this rescue out of pocket. For some time I'm doing everything possible to keep feeding what we have. Someone has stolen my two horses I've rescue many years
ago they been stolen several times before but they escaped or they lost interest and released.but they usually return within a few weeks but it's been a while now so maybe they want return but I'm still praying they return..I guess I'm no spring chicken anymore I can't do as I did so any help would be awesome we are down from 250 pigs too 4 pigs. dogs are down to 9 all fixed now except 2 males we still have 3 adult cats that are also fixed. Welcome to Piggy World Of Lucedale Ms I started this rescue santuary in January 2009 opened to the public in January 2010. We have made some amazing recovery over the years finding new homes for many animals that was discarded and forgotten or abandoned. Though or vet here in lucedale Ms we had many fixed spaded or nutred . We started receiving help before we became a 501 nonprofit then seems like everyone vanished. So I kept pushing forward even though it's most out of pocket and keeps my pocket empty but helps me move a little faster ""lol "" we still welcome and one who wishes to help or donate . We try to make it 3 times a week to head to the food mission in Wilmer Al. But due to transportation issues it's changed out schedule some. But every chance we get we attend. Miss Jessica Grainger makes most of the runs for piggy world which I am greatful for her help and assist each week. But there areany chores she's not able to do she could use some volunteers and muscle doing. But she's learning. You have a couple hrs a week too volunteer it would be greatly appreciated. We are in need of hay bails horse Feed. Dog food. cat food.. and any building supplies you are no longer needing.
