I created these headwraps to bring comfort, confidence, and dignity to those undergoing EEG monitoring - and to remind others that they are not alone. My name is Cathryn Cazalas, I created this page to raise awareness and help other epilepsy warriors feel beautiful during their fight and for them to feel heard. I was put on so many different medications and none of them stopped the seizures. All o
f my EEGs were abnormal, we finally found out I had Mesial sclerosis. I was eventually referred to a specialist in Birmingham Al. I remember feeling so ugly in that gauze and the wires! I was 15 so of course I cared so much about what I looked like. Lol My neurologist found out where the seizures were located and I had brain surgery in 2011. I am now seizure free 11 years. I want this page and these wraps to help other warriors like myself in their journey and give my fellow warriors some confidence and joy during their EEGs while raising awareness at the same time!
