Israeli veteran Boris Shtonda just completed the Kona IRONMAN World Championship on October 10, 2026, almost three years after losing his leg fighting in Gaza following October 7.

Competing with a prosthetic leg, Boris completed one of the world’s toughest endurance races in 16 hours and 33 minutes.

Congratulations, Boris, on this incredible achievement and a powerful example of resilience! 🇮🇱

Today is marking the third anniversary of the October 7 attack, and the SSI movement is commemorating the day by hosting events, displays, memorials, marches, vigils, and gatherings across all of our locations. As the day progresses, we’ll be sharing photos and videos from some of these events. Today, we mourn the victims of October 7, honor the bravery of all volunteers and first responders, and send a strong message of support to the people of Israel and to everyone who is still healing from injuries and carrying the trauma of that day. Am Yisrael Chai.
