Scholarship Opportunity

The National Guard Association of Minnesota (NGAMN) is proud to support the education and future success of National Guard members and their families through our annual scholarship program.

Eligible applicants include current paid annual members, active life members, and alumni/retired life members of the NGAMN Officers’ & Warrant Officers’ Association, along with their spouses, children, and grandchildren.

High school seniors accepted to attend a college or trade school in 2025 are eligible to apply.

Scholarships Available:

Two $1,000 scholarships sponsored by NGAMN and McGough

Two $500 scholarships sponsored by NGAMN

NGAMN continues its mission of advocacy, professional development, and support for Minnesota’s National Guard community, and we are grateful to our partners at McGough for helping invest in the next generation of leaders.

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Due to the generosity of the Isanti County community, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon - Isanti County will award up to four $2500 scholarships in April 2025.

The deadline for application is March 21, 2025.
To determine your eligibility and obtain the application form visit www.beyondtheyellowribbonisanti.org.

The ICBYR Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship winners based on meeting eligibility requirements and essay content.

The scholarships will be awarded at the Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Task Force meeting on April 17, 2025.

We encourage all who meet the eligibility requirements to apply. Your goal may be trade school or college, full time or part time. We welcome applications from traditional and non-traditional students of all ages.
