Minnesota Business Aviation Association The MBAA works to enhance and promote safety issues and the general livelihood of our individual members working in business and corporate aviation.

The MBAA enhances the communication between MBAA members, the NBAA, and other aviation organizations. Our Membership has representation from over 100 MN based companies that utilize extensive use of corporate aircraft within their core business. Our goals include, but are not limited to:

-positively influencing laws and regulations that impact corporate aviation

-educating government officials and agencies along with the general public on the needs and benefits of corporate aviation

-informing MBAA members of regulation changes, safety issues and technological advances that impact corporate aviation. The MBAA works to enhance and promote safety issues and the general livelihood of our individual members working in corporate aviation.

Join the MBAA as we support Second Harvest Heartland!

Our volunteer event will be held on Tuesday, November 10th, from 6 to 8 pm at SHH in Brooklyn Park, with an optional social hour to follow at Pub 42 in New Hope.

We'll assist with sorting, labeling, weighing and packing various food items to meet immediate needs and help feed our hungry neighbors. The projects vary from day to day and volunteers regularly work with fresh produce, dry goods, bread, and other food donations. This volunteer position requires volunteers to be able to twist and bend down, stand for the duration of their shift, and lift up to 5 pounds. Some positions require the ability to lift 40 pounds

Sign-up is managed on the SHH volunteer site, as space is limited to 20 people from our group. You'll need to register and sign a waiver to participate.

If your availability changes after registering, please cancel your spot so someone else can take it.

-Note: A signed volunteer waiver is required prior to volunteering.

All members must register by 10/27. After that, unconfirmed spots will be open to the public. Late additions may be possible if space allows, but aren’t guaranteed.

Event reminder:

The MBAA's HORIZONS hopes to see you at the next event: Oct 8th in St Paul, MN.

'Making the Connection' focuses on those looking for insight into their next aviation adventure; bringing info on resumes, interviews, and how to take your next industry step. Whether you're starting your aviation career, are seeking a change, or simply want to network, we hope to see you there.

The program aims to connect early entrants to aviation with our more experienced pros, so everyone can learn from and support each other.

Hosted in downtown St Paul's Union Depot, at the Mezzanine at 1881, from 4 to 7pm.

Planned speakers include:

-Christine Wetherell, Aviation Personnel International

-Leaders from a local Fortune 500 flight department will be sharing what they've learned and what they look for throughout the hiring process, including resumes, interviewing, benchmarking, and networking.

Attendance is included with current MBAA membership, or is $10/person for guests and non-members.

We had a great time at Girls in Aviation Day 2026!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth on Saturday; we had wonderful conversations with attendees of all ages! We also saw many MBAA members who volunteered, exhibited, or brought their families out.

Many thanks to the Stars of the North Women in Aviation, Minnesota Chapter, for their hard work in hosting the 12th annual GIAD. This is a can't-miss event for the local aviation industry, and we look forward to attending each year.

Hosted at KFCM in Eden Prairie, MN, this free event gathers the aviation community to showcase many of the career and hobby opportunities in STEM and aviation.
