Congratulations to Bella Pressnall, recipient of a $3,000 MLBA/4-H Purple Ribbon Auction Scholarship!

A Dakota County 4-H member, Bella is a sophomore at South Dakota State University studying Agriculture Science, Marketing, and Construction Management, with a minor in Agriculture Business. She’s active in beef, sheep, and swine projects and livestock judging, and plans to pursue a career in agricultural pharmaceutical sales.

BankIn Minnesota contributed $1,500 toward Bella’s scholarship, which was matched through the Purple Ribbon Auction program to create a $3,000 award – supporting her education and the next generation of Minnesota agriculture.

BankIn Minnesota’s Board of Directors has a new member and a familiar face stepping into a new leadership role!

▸ Jason Erdman of Key Community Bank has joined the Board as District 4 Director, bringing his experience and perspective to the bankers helping guide the association.

▸ Terri Barrett of Bravera - Kerkhoven has advanced to the executive committee and will serve as Treasurer after joining the Board in 2024.

We’re grateful to Jason and Terri for giving their time and talents in service to Minnesota’s community banking industry. 👏

Congratulations to Bill LaVigne, President and COO of The Bank of Elk River, on being named Chairman of the BankIn Minnesota Board of Directors! 👏

The leadership transition became official during Convention on July 30, where he spoke about the importance of engagement throughout Minnesota’s community banks.

Bill’s message was simple: the more bankers who get involved, the stronger our association and our industry become.
