President Scott Wilkie spoke at the Governor's Advisory Council and Minnesota CAV Summit yesterday on behalf of Minnesota labor and workforce.

Lawmakers, MN Dept of Transportation, and other stakeholders meet annually on transportation and digital infrastructure across the state.

We appreciate our Political Director, Hannah Alstead for getting the Teamsters a seat at this table. It's crucial that those crafting policy on the topic of autonomous vehicles understand the goals of AI Tech companies and how workers in Minnesota will be affected by their decision on whether or not to allow them.

Workers across diverse industries win organizing campaigns every day to improve their lives by becoming Teamsters.

Ixom Watercare workers in Dickinson, N.D., voted nearly unanimously to join Local 638. The new Teamsters travel across the country to maintain water treatment facilities and reservoirs, including for the city of Las Vegas 💪

Local 638’s TNBC members celebrated Labor Day by supporting It's Our Neighborhood’s annual back-to-school event!

All kids received backpacks filled with school supplies, there was free food, a free haircut, and a block party full of activities, including PLINKO, a bouncy house, and the big attraction: DUNK A TEAMSTER!

Thank you to Officer Kingdom for helping with the event and interacting with the kids; to the St. Paul Fire Department for displaying their fire truck; and to the barbers for donating their time and cutting around 70 haircuts.

A big shout-out to Locals 638, 471, 792, and anyone in JC32 who supported and donated.

We are looking forward to an even bigger and better Labor Day celebration next year and hope you will join us!
