In 2025, we helped parents and kids build their natural support networks, provided deeper levels of navigation support for families as they face long waitlists for services like housing assistance and mental health care, and provided educational and skill-building trainings to community members across the state on childhood trauma and resiliency.

Thank you to the community partners, donors, advocates, and neighbors who have stepped up to make children and families feel seen, valued, and supported.

This week, our staff gathered together for an all-staff retreat at Harriet Alexander Nature Center! The theme was wellness, and the day featured a variety of ways to relax and reflect, including yoga, crafts, massages, spa supplies, and sound baths. The retreats are a great opportunity for the staff across the state to gather together in one place.

Earlier this month, we welcomed four Master of Social Work interns to FamilyWise! Welcome to Maria Bydlon, who is interning in our Supervised Parenting Program, and to Lilia Alcazar, Margaret Heisler, and Christine Cifelli, who are interning in our In-Home Program.
