✊✊📢Tonight, Local 320 showed the true power of unity.
After a strong and decisive 95% strike authorization vote, our members made it clear: we stand together, and we will not back down. That solidarity carried us to victory, as we successfully reached a tentative agreement with Resideo Minneapolis—one that comes with the full recommendation of our negotiating committee.

“Our members spoke loudly yesterday when they authorized a strike by 95%. This unity gave us the necessary power to secure a strong new deal,” said Secretary-Treasurer and Principal Officer Erik Skoog.

This is what happens when working people stand shoulder to shoulder. Business Agent Russell Wyman stated, “When we are united, we are powerful—and employers take notice”.
Let this be a message to every employer: the Teamsters are here, and we demand respect for our sisters and brothers.
The proposed 5-year agreement will be voted on next Wednesday. Stay engaged, stay informed, and stay united.

OUR WAGES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MISSISSIPPI — WE WORK IN MINNESOTA.

At Resideo, workers are being told to measure their worth against wages in Mississippi. Let’s be clear—that’s not just out of touch, it’s disrespectful.

The Teamsters represent over 170 Chisago County employees. Some of these employees are here with me tonight.

In March of 2023, the members of the Chisago County Board of Commissioners ratified contracts with the Teamsters members that included the adoption of wage scale recommendations made by the consulting firm Baker Tilly.

Also recommended in that study by Baker Tilly, was for the County to maintain the classification and compensation system by routinely reviewing market rates. They recommended this includes adjustments to the pay structure annually to keep pace with the market.

The County has cherry-picked to do this for its highest paid employees. In November of 2025, this Board approved a wage increase for the four highest paid County employees. This increase raised the County Administrator’s salary from $172,470 to $207,681. This $35,000 increase amounts to just over a 20% raise. We are here tonight to demand that the County show the same level of respect to our Teamster Brothers and Sisters as it has shown to the four highest paid County employees.

We are not here asking for the 20 plus percent increase that those at the top received. We want what is fair and keeps pace with the market. Unfortunately, the Employer ended contract negotiations with an offer that asked our members to make concessions while refusing to grant them the 3% market adjustment we are seeking. Tonight, the Teamster members responded to this disrespect by voting to authorize a strike.
