The community showed up today- more than 100 people joined us for our emergency protest to say ICE OUT: NO NEW SURGE in response to DHS’s recent announcement that ICE would soon be targeting sanctuary cities! The people of Minneapolis showed that they will not back down, but instead fight back harder and double down on demanding Governor Walz stand up to the Trump administration for real and make Minnesota a Sanctuary State!

Keep taking the streets with us and call Governor Walz and demand he sign an executive order to make MN a Sanctuary State before he leaves office!

On September 26th, neighbors gathered at the Governor’s mansion, demanding Walz to “wake up!” He has less than 100 days left in office with nothing to lose. While Walz sits around, ignoring the demands of his constituents, families continue to lose loved ones, at a rate of one murder every six days.

Demand justice for the lives lost, continue to say their names, and make MN a sanctuary state now!
